The diagnosis and elimination of the fault

There are two types of the white smoke: gray and water vapor white smoke.

1. First, check the temperature of the diesel engine. If the temperature is too low, check the cooling intensity adjusting device. If the temperature gets normal and white smoke can dissipate, it is a normal phenomenon.

2. If the diesel engine temperature is normal and the exhaust pipe drains steam and smoke, put your hand close to the exhaust port. If there are water drops on the hand, check if there is water in the diesel oil or if the cylinder gasket is burned through, or if the cylinder is broken and leaking and so on.

3. The diesel engine power is insufficient, and the exhaust pipe emits gray smoke. Generally, the fuel supply time is too late, so it should be checked and adjust the fuel supply time.

4. Check the spray quality of the injector. First use the single cylinder oil cut method to find out the bad gas cylinder. Remove the injector and connect it to the original high-pressure oil pipe outside the cylinder. Start the diesel engine and observe spray quality. If the spray quality is poor, check and adjust the injector and replace the injector when necessary.

5. If the engine is white smoke when it is just started and black smoke when the temperature rises, it is usually caused by too low cylinder pressure.
