Forging technology
The automatic production lines with hot die forging press and electro-hydraulic hammer as the main engine are the development direction of crankshaft forging production. These production lines will generally adopt advanced technologies such as precision cutting and blanking, roll forging (wedge cross rolling), medium frequency induction heating, finishing hydraulic press precision pressing, etc. at the same time, they will be equipped with auxiliary machines such as manipulator, conveyor belt and die change device brought back to the turntable to form flexible manufacturing system (FMS). Through FMS, the workpiece and die can be replaced automatically, and the parameters can be adjusted automatically, which can be measured continuously in the working process. Display and record the forging thickness and maximum pressure data, and compare with the fixed value, select the best deformation to obtain high-quality products. The central control room monitors the whole system to realize unmanned operation. This method can improve the internal fatigue strength of crankshaft by more than 20%.
